PREP®/Neo Reviews:

Since 1979, Abbott Nutrition (formerly Ross Products Division) has funded PREP® The Curriculum for pediatric residents. As a result, pediatric residents have received at no charge PREP® The Curriculum during their pediatric residency.

Pediatrics Review and Education Program (PREP®) has been developed and administered by the American Academy of Pediatrics. PREP® is considered an essential pediatric education program which provides a broad foundation of knowledge. PREP® is a way for pediatric professionals to complete their continuing medical education credits, study for the Pediatric Maintenance of Certification exam, and engage in life-long learning.

There are three PREP® enrollment options. Abbott Nutrition provides an educational grant to support, in part, PREP® The Curriculum. Specifically, this grant supports the subscriptions for all pediatric residents. The three options are as follows:

• PREP® Tutorial

Since 1999, Abbott Nutrition has funded NeoReviews PLUS for neonatology fellows. As a result, neonatology fellows have received at no charge NeoReviews PLUS during their fellowship.

NeoReviews is an online-only journal from the American Academy of Pediatrics which focuses on neonatal and perinatal topics. Each monthly journal provides 3 to 4 stellar reviews, case discussions, basic science insights and "on the horizon" pieces. Beginning in 2009, all clinical articles will be mapped to the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) content specifications in neonatology.

Since its inception, NeoReviews has been developed in part through an educational grant from Abbott Nutrition. This support allows neonatology fellows to receive this On-line journal at no charge.
